1/144 High Grade Gabthley Hand painted using this method. But I modified the material and use Liquitex acrylic paint.
On the brown parts, I tried to duplicate Makoto Kobayashi and Takeya Takayuki's Shaian in Dragon's Heaven (depicted in Hyper Weapon 2007). I painted the base color. Then I painted a layer of white glue. Before the glue dries, I painted the greenish brown top coat color. Cracks would appear as the white glue dried. The results, however, look quite different from the masterpiece on Hyper Weapon 2007. Need to find some other method.
