My first AFV - Stuart Light Truck

This kit is a gift from a friend. I learned a lot of AFV techniques before building this kit.

Some WIP on the painting and weathering:

Prime with Tamiya white fine primer.

Spray black under coat. Black color has less transparency which works well as a solid base coat.

First olive green coat which is mixed with blue, yellow and a bit red.

The underside of the tank has darker color to illustrate shading by the upper chassis

Light olive green which is slight lighter than the previous coat.

Second light olive green coat.

Apply decals with Mr. Marker Softer. Nice and flat.

Highlight top raised small areas with light green which is handpainted with Vallejo acrylics.

First layer of filter with oil color. I used Winsor and Newton water mixable oil.

First paint chip with light green. I used Vallejo acrylic paint. Masking tape is used when I flickered paint to the body to realize random chips.

Skipped a lot of steps. Sorry. I added 2nd paint chip with a dark grey (almost black) color, added stains (with oil), and rust effect (with pastel)

Final product :)
